Corporate Video Production | Roy’s Restaurant Promotional Video

We have been excited to share this video with you for a while, and I am happy to say that production of the Roy’s Restaurant Promotional Video is now complete!  In Motion was asked to produce a video that would showcase all the aspects of Roy’s that make it unique: outstanding customer service, delicious Hawaiian Fusion cuisine, and making every customer feel like part of their “Ohana”.

We had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Roy Yamaguchi, the Founding Chef and Owner, and also Kiel Lombardo, Corporate Executive Chef.  It was so interesting to find out that every Roy’s Restaurant has a slightly different menu based on local cuisine and input from the Roy’s Chefs.  There are not too many restaurants that offer that!  Our production crew was lucky enough to be able to sample some of the dishes, and I can tell you that everything we tasted was amazing!  Just watching this video makes my mouth water!

Thanks to Roy’s for making In Motion Video Productions feel like part of its Ohana!

Wedding Videography and Corporate Video Production | In Motion Turns 5!

We are excited to say that In Motion Video Productions has hit another milestone!  This weekend, 5 years ago, In Motion shot it’s first wedding!  So, for fun, we thought we’d give you a brief history of the journey we have taken to get to where we are now.

In Motion Video Productions began with a challenge… A challenge by my husband (James) that if I could book enough jobs to pay for the Final Cut Pro system I wanted so badly, that I could buy one.  So of course, knowing me, I set out to prove to him I could do it and booked my first wedding!  The thing we didn’t know, is that we would both fall in love with event videography!  So, 5 years ago James and I set out to shoot our first wedding.  The night was amazing… filled with family, friends, and love for the couple.  We were hooked… The rest, as they say, is history!

Over the course of the past 5 years we have grown from a husband and wife owned business, to a team of specially trained and talented videographers and editors.  We have shot hundreds of weddings and helped each and every couple we work with preserve the most special memories of their lives.

In addition to event videography, we also started a Corporate Videography division of In Motion.  We have had the opportunity to work with clients such as Roy’s Restaurant, The Jacksonville Symphony, The Main Street America Group, Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, Brooks Health, and countless others.

I am so thankful that over the past 5 years I have been able to wake up and do what I love every day.  We are thankful to all of our Couples and Corporate Clients for the success of the past 5 years, and look forward to many many more!

P.S. No, we won’t be posting our first Wedding Video, so don’t ask 😉

Tampa Corporate Video Production | Tech Jam 2011

The Tampa Bay Technology Forum (also known as TBTF), is an organization that provides programs for middle and high school students.  These programs include college scholarships, mentoring programs, and computer labs.  When the TBTF asked In Motion to shoot a highlight video of their biggest fundraiser of the year, Tech Jam, of course we said yes!  Tech Jam 2011 was held at The Ritz Ybor, and all the funds raised this year went to Tampa Bay’s at-risk youth to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.  This event was not only for a great cause, it was A LOT of fun!  They had a Battle of the Bands competition in which local bands played to see who could get the most votes.  All of the bands ROCKED!  It was a fun night for a great cause and we were happy to be a part of it.  Enjoy the video highlights of the night!

New music video | Corporate Video Production | Event Production | Promo Video

Our latest client, Deb Grissett approached us to shoot a music video for a beautiful song that she wrote about her struggles to conceive a child. We at In Motion are very pleased with the results and are happy to share it with you. If you would like more information about infertility issues, or Deb’s services please visit her website at

Music is always big part of our thinking

Recently, we received an inquiry from a company in the area to shoot a corporate video. Their representative said they just wanted us to come out and shoot some video of their company and then add their logo to the end of it. Sounds like a good inquiry right? Well it is, but the client failed to mention a big part of what makes a professional looking video… music. We at In Motion Video Productions know and understand just how much music adds to creating a professional looking video and how much it adds to the overall branding of company. That’s why when we take on a job music is always a huge part of our initial thinking. Advertisers have known and understood for years that music, even just a few bars of music can become synonymous with a company.

This was certainly a part of our thinking when Main Street America Group, a large Jacksonville based Insurance company called us to create their internal communications videos. The videos are sent out on a bi-monthly basis so we understood right from the beginning that we would have to create a regular opening sequence, one that included a musical interlude. We found a short and simple piece of music that we thought fit the company well and combined it with images of the outside of their building. Now when Main Street America Group’s six affiliate offices and 1,500 independent agents click on the latest streaming video and see and hear the now very familiar musical intro they instantly know what that they are going to see, but more importantly, hearing that simple piece of music subtly assures them that their company is consistent, professional and rock solid. Who knew  you could get all that from five seconds of music?

We like to think that we did, of course.

Listen and see for yourself here.

The Cannon 7D DSLR is a game changer

The Cannon 7D DSLR camera looks and feels like any camera you would see in the hands of professional photographer or camera enthusiast, but for one difference, it has the ability to take extended digital video clips. Combine this with an array of quality professional lenses and you have an amazing piece of technology that is fast revolutionizing the way videographers shoot and do business. In fact, the imagery is so good that we used it to shoot the Jacksonville Symphony commercials that are featured on our reel, as well as two new music video’s that are currently in the editing stages. We have been so impressed with the new Cannon 7D that In Motion Video Productions now has two of them in use full time. We at In Motion Video Productions pride ourselves on keeping up with the latest in cutting edge technology and look forward to incorporating it in to our upcoming projects.

Jacksonville Symphony Commercial Shoot

In Motion had the privilege of shooting 2 commercials for The Jacksonville Symphony last week.  Our production team began at 7am shooting 3 scenes in downtown Jacksonville.  We had kids, a dog, and several actors on set.  Laura Morey and Rick Patrick from First Coast Talent kept us laughing all day.  Thanks also to Alina of Signature Hair by Alina Castillo, for making all of our talent look amazing.    The edited commercials are coming soon, but for now here is a behind the scenes look at our production.
